Teresa Kyde (Voegele)

Pat and I met in Bookkeeping Class as sophmores.  Pat had been diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic at age 14.
Pat taught me a lot about Diabetes Type 1 which came in handy when I met my future husband, Dennis Voegele, in 1971. 
Denny had been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes six months earlier in November of 1970. 
We did get together with Pat and her family several times, she and Denny could share about their struggles
living with Brittle Diabetes Type 1.  Pat was deeply Christian and taught us a lot about loving Jesus.
Pat eventually developed kidney failure as a complication of the diabetes and passed away from that. 
She was so brave about what she was going through, and I will never forget her.
